Daily Stock Ideas – May 17, 2021
- Walmart (WMT) – Will report Q1 results before market open on Tuesday. Analysts expect earnings of $1.21 per share on sales just under $132 billion.
- Discovery (DISCA) – Shares were up about 10% following news AT&T (T) and the company will merge in a $43 billion deal.
- Squarespace (SQSP) – Expected to begin trading on Wednesday of this week. The issue is for a direct listing (not an IPO). Squarespace allows users to customize and build an online presence through website design, social media branding and marketing tools.
- Sanofi (SNY) – The FDA will announce a verdict for the company’s biologics license application for its enzyme replacement therapy. The FDA action date is set for Tuesday.
- Target (TGT) – Will report quarterly results on Wednesday before market open.
